Avatarpreneur Media Group LLC ("Avatarpreneur," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website niaforinsurance.com and the Nia for Insurance platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you contact us, request early access, apply as a Founding Partner agent, or use the Service, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, insurance license number, NPN, lines of authority, state(s) of licensure, employer or agency affiliation, and other information relevant to your application or inquiry.

Information collected automatically. When you visit niaforinsurance.com, we automatically collect technical information including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this information to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

Information from third parties. We may receive information from publicly available sources, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR), state Secretary of State filings, and other authoritative public-record databases, as part of the operation of the Nia platform.

2. How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries and process applications
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To verify insurance licensure through NIPR
  • To send transactional communications (account, appointment, and platform notifications)
  • To send promotional communications where you have consented (and where you may opt out at any time)
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse

3. SMS / Text Messaging

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of data exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Service (e.g., hosting, email delivery, CRM, analytics, compliance vendors) under contractual confidentiality and data-use restrictions
  • Licensed insurance agents on the Nia platform, where applicable, for the purpose of connecting prospective customers with a licensed agent
  • Insurance carriers and regulators as required for the issuance, administration, or audit of insurance policies
  • Legal compliance when required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to the terms of this Policy

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, measure performance, and (with consent where required) deliver relevant communications. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect functionality of the Service.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and regulatory obligations (including TCPA audit-trail and insurance recordkeeping requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to: (a) access the personal information we hold about you; (b) request correction or deletion; (c) opt out of certain uses or disclosures; (d) appeal a decision about your rights. Marketing opt-out. You can opt out of marketing email at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email or by emailing us. You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP to any message. See our opt-out page for additional options.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We will provide notice of material changes where required by law.
